“Now you will see what I can do!”

It is with great gratitude that we think and pray for you and all the wonderful intercessors and supporters this Christmas. We wish you all the best and we have a special feeling for 2026. It will be a different year, because what God said to Tommy is:

“Now you will see what I can do”.

That greeting is for you too, because we are in this together. It spills over! Like when Peter got so many fish that the boat was sinking, he called out to his friends. The overflow was big enough for all of them. Every boat was overflowing. That is what we believe God has for everyone next year.

We know that the wonderful things God has for us in 2026 will touch all of us, who are part of the mission God has given us.

Karen and I usually have a very quiet Christmas. You know, what happened in a manger 2000 years ago was the best Christmas gift we could ever receive. God came down to us in the simplest of ways, and that is the message of Christmas: that God’s love for us was so great that he gave us his only Son, to save us. Jesus was born and he died for you and me, and now we live for Him.

That is why the month of December is when we want to help and give the love of God to as many as possible! Here are some of the things we are doing now:

Abandoned mothers in Bangalore, India. Their husbands have left permanently, and now the women are considered unclean, nobody wants them, and nobody wants to marry them. They have no education and don’t work. So we have been helping this vulnerable group for the past 15 years. We buy rice, personal hygiene items, school materials and school uniforms so their children can attend school. It is expensive, but we are helping about 100 abandoned mothers and their children, together with our church here.

The Himalayas and the Ratcatcher Tribe. Now we have drilled 40 wells, and our goal is to drill number 50 before summer.

We baptized at night, and that same weekend 60 people accepted Jesus! (Arabia, a stone’s throw from Mecca)

We have to buy a car for our ministry among the Muslims. The one we have can’t be repaired any longer. Every month we drive so many miles, because we have newly-planted churches in 6 of the emirates! Amazing. We need a gift of 25,000 to buy a small SUV. What a fantastic Christmas gift that would be!

We need an extra gift for both the children’s village in Israel as well as the fleeing Ukrainian Jews. The needs in Israel are huge.

In January and February we have big crusades planned, in India, Kenya and Uganda. Jesus is truly on the march in these places. We are sending out 350 leaders in one of the most persecuted states in Asia.

We are giving an extra Christmas gift to our hospital north of Mombasa Kenya, Christmas presents for all the children at our orphanages, and to our pastors and their families.

Thank you for your gift this month, it will be a Christmas present for all those we are helping, and when we give to what Jesus is doing, your gift becomes something even bigger, it becomes treasure in heaven! We give others what we wish for ourselves – a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
In the love of Christ,
Pastor Tommy & Karen Lilja

We do what we are – together we are fighting human trafficking!

Today we have an amazing team working on the border between Nepal and India. They are monitoring the busses headed to India, visiting villages with information, and influencing the authorities. Whatever they can do to rescue as many as possible. This year, 2024, we have already helped 60 girls, and right now 20 of them are getting training as seamstresses.

One of the girls was Punam, 15 years old, very poor, she came in contact with an unknown man who was on his way to smuggle her across the border into India. We found her at the last moment, at the bus station on the border to India.

Another one was Puja, 15 years old. She was married off at the age of 13. Her husband promised her family that Puja would have a better life. But then she was taken to India, tortured, rape, and sold as a prostitute. After 2 years she managed to escape, which is extremely rare. Once she crossed the border back into Nepal, someone told her about our ministry, and now she is in our care.

The cost for saving one girl is about 50 USD/GBP per month.
